{"id":1803619,"date":"2022-07-13T11:12:47","date_gmt":"2022-07-13T16:12:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/triathlon.dev-croissanceetconfiseries.com\/blogue\/quebec-on-the-podium-at-canadian-championships\/"},"modified":"2025-06-24T15:41:53","modified_gmt":"2025-06-24T20:41:53","slug":"quebec-on-the-podium-at-canadian-championships","status":"publish","type":"blogue","link":"https:\/\/triathlon.dev-croissanceetconfiseries.com\/en\/blogue\/quebec-on-the-podium-at-canadian-championships\/","title":{"rendered":"Qu\u00e9bec on the podium at Canadian Championships"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At last week&#8217;s Gatineau Triathlon, which also served as the Canadian Championships for divisional athletes, Quebecers dominated the competition, taking all the gold medals and winning 9 of the 18 medals awarded at the end of the events.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the women&#8217;s race, it was No\u00e9mie Beaulieu who walked away with the title of Canadian champion, with a time of 1:01:30. By taking first place in both the junior and elite races, Beaulieu certainly demonstrated incredible strength of character. Meanwhile, Kamille Larocque became Canadian runner-up, completing her race in 1:01:50.    <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the men&#8217;s category, Mathis Beaulieu topped the podium twice, in the junior and elite categories, to become the Canadian champion for the 2022 season with a remarkable time of 55:21. His compatriot, Pavlos Antoniades, finished the competition in 55:33 and took the silver medal. Antoniades also won gold in the U23 race. In the junior category, Alexandre LebLanc took second place, just behind Beaulieu, with a time of 56:38.     <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Triathlon Qu\u00e9bec is extremely proud of the performances of all the athletes from the province who took part in the event.
