Qu\u00e9bec sport, the Canadian Anti-Doping Program (CADP) applies to you. It is important to note that by participating in Triathlon Qu\u00e9bec partner events, the CADP applies to you, and you may be selected for doping control. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fb0ceb0 bloc-wysiwyg elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"fb0ceb0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/cces.ca\/fr\/programme-canadien-antidopage\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES)<\/a> manages the Canadian Anti-Doping Program (CADP), the set of rules that govern doping in Canada. The CADP covers a number of areas, including in-competition and out-of-competition testing, training, medical exemptions and repercussions for anti-doping rule violations. The CADP also complies with the World Anti-Doping Code and international standards.  <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-51629e3 bloc-wysiwyg elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"51629e3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Triathlon Qu\u00e9bec has adopted the CADP. In other words, the federation has signed up to an internationally recognized anti-doping program designed to protect athletes&#8217; rights and ensure a level playing field. Triathlon Qu\u00e9bec&#8217;s anti-doping policy and code of conduct reflect and support the CADP. It should be noted that while the Canadian government legalized cannabis on October 17, 2018, athletes subject to the Canadian Anti-Doping Program (CADP) should be aware that this will not change <a href=\"https:\/\/cces.ca\/fr\/cannabis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the status of cannabis in sport<\/a>. Indeed, cannabis continues to be a prohibited substance, and a positive test can still result in sanctions.  <\/li><li>Consult the medical exemption requirements if an athlete must take a prohibited medication for a legitimate medical reason.<\/li><li>Be aware of the doping risks associated with taking supplements: do not use supplements, or take significant precautions before doing so. Supplements cannot be verified with the CCES or DRO Global.
