\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAthletes wishing to compete at elite or professional international level must meet certain administrative requirements. International Competition Card (ICC)<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

  1. Be a member in good standing of Triathlon Qu\u00e9bec.<\/li>
  2. Create an account on the Triathlon Canada platform<\/a>. A user guide<\/a> is available. <\/li>
  3. Make an appointment with a sports or family doctor for a pre-season check-up. This process validates that the athlete is in good health and fit to take part in physically demanding competitions.
    1. The examination form is available on the Triathlon Canada website. It is strongly suggested that athletes fill it out before their appointment and then review it with their doctor. <\/li>
    2. At this appointment, the athlete should request a prescription for a resting electrocardiogram (resting ECG). It is also advisable to ask for a prescription for a control blood test. <\/li><\/ol><\/li>
    3. Once the forms have been completed and the resting ECG result has been received, the athlete can apply for an International Competition Card (ICC) by paying on the Tricanreg platform.<\/li>
    4. Athletes must then apply for each race they wish to take part in, at least 45 days before the race.<\/li>
    5. If the athlete needs to change his or her plans after making a request, he or she must withdraw from the system.<\/li><\/ol>

      \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAthletes must comply with World Triathlon rules regarding competition uniforms. \nIn particular, the uniform must bear the athlete’s name and country on the front and back, and the World Triathlon logo.
